| IHOR BASKO |
| This IS the "mushroom of
immortality" and the first I have ever tried back in the
"roaring 70's" One of the best single herbs for
geriatrics. I began by mixing the powdered mushroom
with an amino vitamin B complex syrup for aging dogs and
cats. No side effects, easy to administer in liquid
form. Works synergistically with shiitake, maitake, and
cordyceps I recently found a patch growing near my
clinic entrance on some old hardwood chips (probably
shipped in from the mainland US). I also found a great
patch of them in Vermont when my wife and I were camping
right before the AHVMA conference there. They like
decaying hardwoods especially Oak. There are many
varieties: black (salty), blue(sour), yellow(sweet),
purple (sweet) white (hot) and red (bitter).......all
priced differently and found in different parts of the
world. G. oregonense and G. tsugae found in the North
West are similar to G. lucidum Also, protect against
ionizing radiation (we are having solar flares right
now) Increase white blood cells and hemoglobin.
Anti-viral (good to take to prevent the flu) Anti
inflammatory Treats mushroom poisoning |
